Kilkenny Golf Club (6kms drive)

Mount Juliet has hosted the Irish Open on three occasions and was home to the World Golf Championship in September 2002. Not only famous for its championship golf course, you can also enjoy a leisurely walk around the estate or explore on horseback when you are finished playing.
Gowran Park Golf Club (17kms drive)
Developed in 2001, the golf course was designed to complement the renowned race meetings that take place in Gowran Park each year. With the magnificent backdrop of the Blackstairs Mountain Range, the course is picturesque and worth a visit for the views alone. Most of the holes are set in the mature woodland and lake settings of the Annaly Estate, with five holes beside the racecourse itself. They offer discounted rates for visitors at certain times of the day so if you’re clever you can bag a bargain!
Mountain View Golf Course (25kms drive)
Designed to be an exciting challenge for golfers of all levels, Mountain View Golf Course is family owned and managed so you are sure of a warm welcome from staff that are passionate about the sport. Castlecomer Golf Club (26kms drive)
A little further away but well worth the drive, Castlecomer Golf Club is situated in a 200-year old forest and boasts stunning views of the surrounding countryside. They offer coaching for everyone, ranging from youths and beginners to advanced players under the guidance of PGA professional Noel Leahy. They also do a great Saturday and Sunday lunch and cater especially for groups.
