Last November, The Hoban Hotel was privileged to receive a couple of hard-won awards from Trip Advisor.
The first of these were the Traveller’s Choice award, which is an award we have received in the past and it’s always great to win as it acts as such a great stamp of approval to all of the lovely reviews we receive.
If you didn’t know, this award is handed out every year and is given to local hotels (among other destinations and attractions) based on the ratings and reviews it had collected over the previous 12 months. This award is given almost entirely based on these customer responses, so we are grateful to those who stay and dine with us for the lovely words they share.
This places The Hoban Hotel in the top 10% of hotels worldwide – a recognition that reflects our commitment to exceptional service, comfort, and guest satisfaction.
But the latest news we received was that we had achieved the #2 on Trip Advisor for hotels in Kilkenny. This is fantastic to hear and marks such a milestone in how far the hotel has come. To be the second-most favourably reviewed hotel in such a tourist destination like Kilkenny is amazing.
Kilkenny is home to many fantastic hotels, and to be recognised as one of the very best is a huge honour. We are truly grateful for the continuous support of our guests, whose reviews and recommendations have helped us achieve this ranking.
It wasn’t too long ago that we were #7 on Trip Advisor for hotels in Kilkenny, but only a couple of years ago we refurbished the hotel, our amazing staff has truly worked hard, and now here we are.
