It’s important to maintain your health and wellness routine while travelling. At the Hoban Hotel, we have a spacious reception area where you can relax and disconnect, as well as an outdoor terrace surrounded by a garden perfect for practising some quiet meditation and yoga.
To ensure our guests maintain their health and wellness routine, our reception will be stocked with:

Enjoy some fresh air
When travelling for work, it can be difficult to maintain your fitness and get your steps in. Luckily, at the Hoban Hotel Kilkenny, we are located close to scenic countryside walking looks.
The Castle Park Lacken Walk is a 4.8km loop around Kilkenny City. The Loop is an easy route and is popular for both runners and walkers. The Loop takes just over an hour to complete while walking and is ideal if you want to disconnect and enjoy some peace and respite. The walk also has lovely views of the river Nore, rose gardens and Kilkenny old town. There is a small car park at the end of Maudlin Street that leads to the Laken Walk. This car park is just a 7-minute drive from the hotel.

We have teamed up with our local gym, the Watershed, to help our guests maintain their fitness routine during their stay.
The Watershed is a fantastic gym with fabulous facilities, including a 25-meter swimming pool with a spa area and a gym with state-of-the-art cardio, resistance and weight training equipment.
The gym also offers a range of group fitness classes, including spin, kettlebell blast, body combat, and body balance. These classes are led by personal trainers who guide you through the class and keep you motivated. You can book a fitness class at the Watershed here.
