Bedrooms
Our 80 well-appointed rooms have been recently renovated. These new renovations include brand new smart TVs, headboards, bedside lockers, wallpaper, curtains, marble top tables, chairs, and new lights in our 4 star hotel.
Dining Options
We offer a variety of dining options to satisfy every palate. With these options, we can cater to a group of any size. If anyone has any dietary preferences or allergies, or staff can ensure the still get a delicious meal.
Our Location
We have a large car park with plenty of space for large groups. Perfect for a corporate meeting, and complimentary for guests as well. We are just off the Ring Road, which is next to the N10 and the N76. Just a 5 minute drive takes you to the centre of Kilkenny City.

Our sports team packages are designed to make your stay as easy and comfortable as possible. Our Executive Chef and dedicated kitchen team prepare nutritious, balanced meals each day, with breakfast, lunch and dinner options, as well as pre- and post-match snacks to keep your team fuelled and ready to perform.
Private or semi-private dining areas can also be arranged, subject to availability, giving your team a comfortable space to dine together and stay focused.
We can provide fully equipped meeting rooms for team briefings, along with additional space for physio sessions and kit storage. When it’s time to recharge, choose from flexible single, twin or triple room options to suit your team.

Since 2022 Rás na mBan, Ireland’s only women’s international cycling race, has chosen Hoban Hotel Kilkenny as its race HQ. Totalling over 400km of racing action, more than 100 riders, representing 9 different nations, start their racing journey at Hoban Hotel Kilkenny for this famous, tough, six-stage cycling race.
Rás na mBan will have its race HQ again at Hoban Hotel Kilkenny in 2025. We choose Hoban Hotel Kilkenny because of the very high quality of service that we receive from its truly excellent team of staff. Over five days 70+ volunteer race crew, as well as race teams, enjoy the comfort of the hotel, its good food, and the warm welcome always waiting for us at the end of long days racing.
